Galactic Glide

Galactic Glide is a remarkable tall bearded iris, introduced by Sutton in 2024, that commands attention with its dynamic luminata patterning and vivid coloration. The moderate purplish-red standards are elegantly edged in gold, creating a luminous, greenish effect that is both unique and captivating. Falls echo the standards’ rich hue, accented by yellow edging, intricate veining, and a flash of white in the throat that highlights the bold yellow beards. With 7 to 9 buds per 35" well-branched stalk, Galactic Glide offers impressive garden performance and bloom habits. This iris is a true garden showpiece—pattern-forward, color-saturated, and destined to be a conversation-starting centerpiece in any landscape. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
