Fusion (Michael Sutton, 2009) is a truly singular Tall Bearded Iris, celebrated for its graphic edge-trimmed falls and vibrant, color-forward design. Towering at 35" (89 cm), this late to very late bloomer features luminous yellow standards delicately streaked with white and accented by subtle green veining. The style arms transition from cream to yellow, topped with refined white crests. The falls are a dramatic canvas: a radiant yellow sunburst at the beards melts into bold ruby red, then deepens to plum, with painterly blue-lavender highlights sweeping the lower three-quarters of each petal. A crisp 1/8" blue rim on the upper half and a tan rim below add a curated, boutique-caliber finish.
