Funky Fun

Funky Fun (Tom Burseen, 2021) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that brings a painterly flair to the garden. Reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming early, this cultivar features creamy grey-tan standards (RHS 159B) washed with purple and brown at the centers, finished with light brown edges. The creamy tan style arms are edged in gold, complemented by light purple stigmas. Falls are cream with a dramatic violet-blue wash beneath the beard, bordered by tan edges and gold-brown blended hafts. The beards showcase a dynamic gradient: gold in the throat, brown in the middle, and purple-brown at the ends, topped with tan flounces and light blue stems. Bred from Out Of Control X Get Moxie sibling, Funky Fun is a conversation-starting, exhibition-grade iris that makes a bold statement in any landscape. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
