Fruited Plain (Sutton, 2012) is a tall bearded iris reaching 32" (81 cm), blooming early to late in the season. This variety features amaranth rose standards and style arms, with matching falls washed in purple and edged by a pale pink rim. The tangerine beards, accented by pale pink hairs tipped in tangerine, add a vivid contrast. Fruited Plain is noted for its ruffled and serrated form and a slight sweet fragrance.
