Fruit Cup (Paul Black, 2013) is a charming SDB iris introduced by Schreiner in 2014, offered by Amethyst Creek Farm. Reaching 14" (36 cm) in height, this midseason to late bloomer features standards in light buff-peach with a delicate lilac haze and a narrow buff band. The style arms are mid buff-peach with a pink midrib and pale rose center. Falls display a pale buff-peach patch around the beards, transitioning to veined mid plum and a mottled plum band, with the outer third washed in light lilac and finished with a tan-peach rim. Vibrant mid-orange beards and a pronounced sweet fragrance complete its appeal. Fruit Cup is a result of Love Spell crossed with a select seedling, showcasing a unique blend of pastel and plum tones.
