Frozen Margarita

‘Frozen Margarita’ (Tom Burseen, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming from early to late season. This variety features light aureolin yellow standards and style arms, contrasted by clean white falls. The beards are orange in the throat and middle, transitioning to light blue at the ends, with orange-based, white-tipped hairs. Exceptionally ruffled blooms and a slight spicy fragrance add to its appeal. Bred from ‘Subtle Beauty’ crossed with a seedling and ‘Crying Crawdead’ pollen parent, ‘Frozen Margarita’ received an Honorable Mention in 2018. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
