Fresh And Exciting

Fresh And Exciting (Richard Tasco, 2020) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that lives up to its name with a vibrant, color-forward display. Reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, this hybrid dazzles with luminous yellow standards and style arms, while the falls echo the yellow base, dramatically etched with bold burgundy veins. Tangerine beards add a vivid pop, and a sweet fragrance enhances its garden appeal. Bred from Center Line X Teasing Tiger, this Superstition 2021 introduction earned an Honorable Mention in 2024. Fresh And Exciting is a memorable, exhibition-grade iris—perfect for gardeners seeking a showpiece with pedigree and presence. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
