French Rose

French Rose (George Sutton, 1997) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming in midseason. This variety features beautifully ruffled blooms in a sophisticated blend of French rose (RHS 49D) and salmon (27A), complemented by salmon style arms and vibrant Spanish orange beards. Bred from 'Caption' X 'Perils of Pauline', French Rose offers a slight sweet fragrance, adding a delicate sensory touch to the garden. No rebloom has been reported. Introduced by Sutton in 1998.
