Fraidy Cat

‘Fraidy Cat’ (Jean Morris, 2005) is a charming Standard Dwarf Bearded iris reaching 13" (33 cm) in height, introduced by Gormley Greenery in 2006. This midseason bloomer features a luminous lemon yellow self, with falls displaying a delicate peach wash on the upper two-thirds around the beard. The beards are a vibrant tangerine in the middle and throat, fading to light orange at the end, and the blooms offer a subtle spicy fragrance. Bred from ‘Lumalite’ x ‘Sweet Bite’, ‘Fraidy Cat’ was recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2008. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Fragrant Awards: Honorable Mention
