Formal Invitation (Walter Moores, 2013) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming in the early midseason. This elegant variety features cream-white standards that blend to pale yellow at the base, complemented by matching cream-white style arms. The falls are a rich dark lavender-violet with a prominent large cream-white center, creating a dramatic contrast. Beards are pale yellow in the throat and middle, finishing with a white tip.
