Fool's Paradise

Fools Paradise (Loïc Tasquier, 2010) is a gallery-worthy iris that brings a painterly touch to the early spring garden. This 27" (69 cm) beauty features luminous yellow standards softly brushed with purple at the center, complemented by golden style arms. The crisp white falls are boldly rimmed and hafted in yellow, accented with a delicate hint of violet just below the beard. Its beards are a dynamic gradient—yellow in the throat, shifting to violet-tipped yellow, and finishing in vivid violet. With a slight fragrance and a sophisticated color palette, Fools Paradise is a collector-grade showpiece bred from ‘Galway’ x ‘Change Of Pace’—a testament to masterful hybridizing and a memorable addition to any iris collection.
