Florentine Silk

Florentine Silk (Keith Keppel, 2005) is a tall bearded iris reaching 40" (102 cm), blooming from midseason to late. This award-winning variety features elegant peach standards with a subtle orchid basal infusion and matching peach style arms accented by orchid midribs. The falls are a rich medium violet, edged with a narrow band of pinkish buff, and highlighted by light blue beards tipped with lavender white and a vivid carrot red throat. Bred from a cross of Crystal Gazer sibling and Poem Of Ecstasy, Florentine Silk has received numerous accolades, including the American Dykes Medal (2012), Wister Medal (2011), and Award of Merit (2009).
