Flatout Foxy

Flatout Foxy (Tom Burseen, 2022) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, color-forward presence. Reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming early to midseason, this hybridizer’s dream features luminous orange standards and style arms blended with red, while the falls showcase vibrant orange with a dramatic red-washed center and a beech brown (RHS 165A) wash beneath the beard. The beard itself is a painterly blend of yellow ochre (RHS 165D) at the base with gold-tipped hairs, adding a luxe finishing touch. Ruffled petals and a pronounced musky fragrance make Flatout Foxy a garden-showpiece and a memorable addition to any landscape. Bred from Crowfoot X seedling 14-148 (Power Down x Fancy Ideas), this cultivar is a testament to Burseen’s masterful hybridizing. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Fragrant, Ruffled
