First Nation (Robin Shadlow, 2017) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, color-forward design. Reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features luminous lemon-yellow standards accented by a faint magenta midrib line, complemented by matching lemon-yellow style arms. The falls are saturated magenta, blending to a lighter hue on the outer inch and intensifying over several days, finished with a crisp white marking at the beard and a magenta wire rim edge. Vivid orange beards add a dynamic pop. Bred from 'Class Ring' X 'Treasure Trader', First Nation is a gallery-worthy, pedigree iris—an eye magnet and a standout centerpiece for any garden.
