Fires of Fiji (Paul Black, 2002) is a standout SDB iris introduced by Mid-America in 2003. This award-winning variety reaches 11" (28 cm) and blooms midseason, displaying medium blue standards and falls accented by darker blue veining in the throat and on the haft. The beards are a vibrant medium to dark orange, tipped blue-white with a white base, adding a unique contrast. Fires of Fiji offers a slight musky fragrance and is a sibling to 'Cold Snap'.
