Fiery Temper (Keith Keppel, 2001) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming in midseason. This award-winning variety features dahlia purple standards and style arms, subtly shaded and edged with apricot yellow. The falls are a deep red-black, complemented by beards in rich bittersweet orange to tile red. With its dramatic color contrasts and refined form, Fiery Temper brings bold sophistication to the garden. Honored with an Honorable Mention in 2003 and an Award of Merit in 2005.
