Fiasco

Fiasco (Barry Blyth, 2016) is a truly remarkable Tall Bearded Iris, standing at an impressive 45" (114 cm) and blooming in the early midseason. Its rich burgundy standards and falls gradually lighten to a refined lavender-grey edge, with the reverse color elegantly visible along the ruffled margins. Occasionally, a dramatic broken white pattern appears on the falls, adding a unique visual twist. Apricot style arms and vivid tangerine-orange beards provide a dazzling contrast, while the flat, sculptural form with six beards and absence of anthers gives Fiasco a modern, gallery-worthy silhouette. A subtle sweet fragrance completes this pedigree-worthy bloom, making it a standout choice for collectors and garden enthusiasts seeking a bold, unforgettable centerpiece. Bred from 'Lording It' X seedling# R50-2 and a sibling to 'Mysterioso'.
