Exhibitionist

Exhibitionist (Lowell Baumunk, 2008) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded Iris that commands attention with its luminous white standards, each base aglow in yellow-orange, and style arms shifting from white to a delicate light lavender. The falls are painterly lavender, deepening dramatically at the ruffled edges and accented by bold yellow-orange hafts. Wide, vivid tangerine beards end in a flash of white, and some blooms feature whimsical ½" fuzzy white horns tipped with a tiny purple spot—an extraordinary detail for collectors. Standing 34" (86 cm) tall and blooming midseason, Exhibitionist is a pedigree-worthy show garden centerpiece, honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2012. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
