Ever After

Ever After (Keith Keppel, 1985) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), introduced in 1986. This midseason to late bloomer features elegant fuchsia rose standards, with falls that pale toward the center, complemented by a vivid hyacinth red beard. Noted for its pronounced sweet fragrance, Ever After is a favorite among gardeners and has received both the Favorite Guest Iris award (1986) and an Honorable Mention (1988). Bred from 'Mulled Wine' x 'Cranberry Ice', it is also recognized for its reblooming capability, with reports of rebloom in California and Australia. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
