Espionage (Keith Keppel, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), blooming midseason to late. This award-winning variety features light blue standards with a prominent amber-beige central area, complemented by light blue style arms and columbine blue midribs edged in beige. The falls display a rich lobelia blue, darkest at the center and fading to a pale blue border, with olive to fawn brown hafts marked by thumbprint veining on white. Beards are white at the base, transitioning to golden glow in the middle and finishing with a dark blue tip. Bred from Silk Road x Roaring Twenties, Espionage has earned both the Honorable Mention (2017) and Award of Merit (2022). Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
