English Cottage (Lloyd Zurbrigg, R. 1976) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (87 cm), notable for its early bloom and reliable rebloom in late summer to fall (August and September in Virginia). The standards are white with subtle, very pale violet plicating, while the falls are white with light violet plicata markings at the haft and a near white beard. English Cottage is a proven rebloomer, with performance reported across a wide range of climates and USDA Zones 4–9. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
