Emoji Material

Emoji Material (Tom Burseen, 2021) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its luminous, high-contrast color palette and refined form. Reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming early to midseason, this cultivar features pristine white standards and style arms edged with a hint of yellow, while the falls are elegantly overlaid and washed in a painterly lilac (RHS 76B). The beards are a dynamic gradient—orange in the throat, transitioning to brown, and finishing in lilac at the tips—adding a bold, graphic accent. A slight sweet fragrance enhances its garden appeal. With its pedigree from standout parents and its memorable, gallery-worthy presence, Emoji Material is a show garden centerpiece and a collector-grade addition for any iris enthusiast.
