Electric Shock

Electric Shock is a tall bearded iris introduced by Virginia Messick in 1996, originating from seedling M87-37 (Olympiad X Cosmic Dance). Reaching 34" (86 cm) in height, this midseason bloomer features elegant white standards washed with deep blue and white falls subtly overlaid with blue, complemented by dark blue beards. The blooms are ruffled and emit a sweet fragrance, adding sensory appeal to the garden. Electric Shock has been recognized with an Honorable Mention in 1999 and an Award of Merit in 2002.
