Elderberry Mead

Elderberry Mead (Schreiner, 2023) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded Iris that delivers a dazzling visual impact in the garden. Towering at 37" (94 cm), this early to midseason bloomer features luminous medium yellow standards edged with a dramatic dark wire rim, perfectly contrasted by rich, black cherry falls. The beards, with their white base tipped in yellow, add a refined accent to the bold color palette. Enhanced by a slight sweet fragrance, Elderberry Mead is a pedigree-worthy, collector-grade iris with painterly coloration and a commanding presence—an extraordinary choice for those seeking a memorable, showpiece addition to their landscape. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
