Ego Ride

Ego Ride (Tom Burseen, 2021) is a truly extraordinary Tall Bearded iris, celebrated for its sculptural, gallery-worthy blooms and dynamic color play. Reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming midseason to late, this cultivar features luminous white standards and style arms, elegantly overlaid with apricot—most pronounced at the base. The falls are a refined white, brushed with a pale violet-blue lighter than RHS 97D, and edged in a soft apricot wash. Vivid scarlet beards (RHS 43B) create a bold focal point, flanked by big, wide, hairy, and tattered horns in white and pale violet-blue for a dramatic, exhibition-grade effect. Ruffled and laced petals add couture-worthy refinement, while a slight musky fragrance completes its sophisticated presence. Bred from Seedling 16-55; Blushing Bird sibling X Flavor Vapor, Ego Ride is a collector-grade, conversation-starting centerpiece for any garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Laced, Novelty, Ruffled, Space Age
