Eau Vive (Richard Cayeux, 1997) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (85 cm) with a midseason bloom. This variety features medium blue self blooms with a subtle lavender tint and vibrant orange beards. Bred from a cross between Seedling 8461 (a Ruban Bleu sibling) and Skyblaze, Eau Vive is noted for its refined color palette and elegant form. Introduced by Cayeux in 1998. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
