Eagle Landing

Eagle Landing (George Sutton, 1999) is a singular Tall Bearded Iris that brings a luminous, opalescent presence to the late midseason garden. Reaching an impressive 37" (94 cm), its exquisitely ruffled white blooms are accented by refined white beards, with hairs delicately tipped in pale yellow and finished with a sculptural white horn. Lightly fragrant with a subtle sweet aroma, this Novelty Iris—bred from Mesmerizer x Silverado and honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2002—offers a polished, exhibition-grade look that makes it a memorable centerpiece for any landscape.
