Dutchman's Dream

Dutchman's Dream (Robert Van Liere, 2004) is a phenomenal Tall Bearded Iris that brings a gallery-worthy presence to any garden. Reaching 36" (91 cm) in midseason, this cultivar captivates with coral pink standards and style arms, dramatically set above falls of deep lavender that melt into icy blue and pristine white around a vivid tangerine-orange beard, finished with a petite white horn. Its robust, sturdy stalks support an impressive 9 to 11 buds on three branches plus spurs, ensuring a prolonged and dynamic display. Bred from ‘Conjuration’ x ‘Sweet Musette’ and honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2007, Dutchman's Dream is a true collector-grade, exhibition-ready iris—perfect for those seeking a bold, painterly centerpiece with undeniable charisma.
