Double Stitch

Double Stitch is a reblooming tall bearded iris introduced by George Sutton in 2005. This early midseason variety reaches 35" (89 cm) and features elegant, ruffled white-ground plicata blooms with a narrow, stitched amethyst violet (RHS 85B) edge. The falls display additional amethyst dots, while the style arms are a deep blackish plum (near 79A). Accented by white beards with a touch of yellow in the throat, Double Stitch also offers a slight sweet fragrance. Parentage: Bountiful Harvest X seedling G-83 (Garden Grace x Bountiful Harvest).
