Double Ringer

Double Ringer (Richard Ernst, 2007) is a tall bearded iris reaching 38" (97 cm), blooming in the late midseason. This award-winning variety features elegant white standards touched with yellow along the midrib and white style arms accented by yellow highlights. The falls display a crisp white ground with a gilt edge, a narrow white band, and a wide yellow band, complemented by a vertical yellow stripe and precise violet-brown haft marks. Vibrant orange tangerine beards and ruffled petals add to its refined appearance. Double Ringer offers a slight sweet fragrance and is a result of crossing Whispering Spirits with Amarillo Frills.
