Double Chocolate

Double Chocolate (John Painter, 2013) is a tall bearded iris reaching 41" (104 cm) with a midseason bloom. This variety features standards in rich chocolate brown to red-brown tones, golden brown style arms, and falls in a deeper chocolate brown, all accented by old gold beards. Bred from Chocolate Ecstasy x Valentino, Double Chocolate was introduced by Napa Country in 2014 and received an Honorable Mention in 2017. This iris is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
