Dorothy Devenport is a tall bearded iris introduced by Hooker Nichols in 2003, offered here from Amethyst Creek Farm. This award-winning variety reaches 36-40" and blooms early to midseason. Its standards are a rich, deep peach, complemented by lighter peach falls and creamy peach beards. The blooms are elegantly ruffled, creating a refined and graceful garden presence. Dorothy Devenport is the result of a cross between Marthella and Edith Anderson, and has earned both an Honorable Mention (2005) and an Award of Merit (2007) from the American Iris Society.
