Doodads (Paul Black, 2003) is a truly eye-catching Tall Bearded Iris that brings a painterly flair to the garden. Reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming early to midseason, this cultivar features pearl standards elegantly flushed with a violet midrib and accented by a yellow gold band that widens at the base. Medium gold style arms add warmth, while the vivid violet blue falls are boldly edged with a gold rim and haft. The yellow gold beard and violet flounce edged in tan create a dramatic finish.
