Disguise

Disguise is a tall bearded iris introduced by Thomas Johnson in 2006, offered here from Amethyst Creek Farm. This early-blooming variety reaches 37" (94 cm) and features orchid buff standards with a maroon heart, buff style arms with light maroon centers, and maroon falls that deepen toward the edge. The salmon ground is intricately veined with maroon around a rust-colored beard, and the blooms carry a slight fragrance. Bred from San Miguel x Romantic Evening, Disguise received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2009. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fertile, Fragrant, Veining Awards: Honorable Mention
