Diamond Heart

Diamond Heart (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) that blooms early in the season. This variety features gold standards with a subtle violet line along the midrib, gold style arms, and lavender-purple falls accented by a deep gold thumbprint on either side of the orange beard. A golden brown band frames the falls, and the blooms are enhanced by a sweet fragrance. Bred from Painted Love X Hard to Resist, Diamond Heart was introduced by Mid-America in 2021 and received an Honorable Mention in 2023. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Awards: Honorable Mention
