Devonshire Cream

Devonshire Cream (George Sutton, 1999) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), introduced by Sutton in 2000. This late midseason to very late bloomer features heavily ruffled, cream-white standards and falls accented by dark lemon hafts. The beards are yellow, transitioning to cream at the end and base, and the blooms offer a slight spicy fragrance. Bred from Elizabeth Poldark x Simply Pretty, Devonshire Cream has received both the Honorable Mention (2002) and Award of Merit (2004) from the American Iris Society.
