Devil's Intent

Devil’s Intent (Barry Blyth, 2016) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly color blend and charismatic presence. Reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming early to midseason, this cultivar features soft lavender standards with intricate violet veining that deepens at the midribs, creating a luminous, layered effect. The falls display rich rose-brown shades, accentuated by deeper veining and a lighter area around and below the beards, which glow in a vivid tangerine. A slight sweet fragrance adds to its appeal. With its dynamic color play and refined form, Devil’s Intent is a garden-showpiece and a collector-grade addition for any iris enthusiast. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
