Despacito

Despacito (Robin Shadlow, 2017) is a captivating SDB iris that commands attention with its remarkable color transformation as the bloom matures. Reaching 10" (25 cm) in height and blooming midseason, Despacito features luminous white standards and style arms tinged with lavender, contrasted by chestnut brown falls at the hafts, with white streaks along the beard blending into a light plum center and softening at the edges. The beards are yellow in the throat, ending in white, creating a vivid, painterly effect. With its well-branched stalks and abundant, well-placed blooms, this easy-growing variety offers extended garden performance and a memorable, gallery-worthy presence.
