Designer’s Art (Frederick Kerr, R. 2004) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), introduced by Rainbow Acres in 2005. This late midseason bloomer features elegant cream yellow standards and style arms, with falls of crisp white highlighted by a wide blue band that diffuses toward the center and broad yellow hafts. The beards are orange, tipped with white, and the blooms offer a slight sweet fragrance. Bred from ‘Lena Baker’ x ‘Queen’s Circle’, Designer’s Art has received both an Honorable Mention (2007) and an Award of Merit (2010). Notably, it has been reported to rebloom in Australia as of May 2024. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
