Designer Gown

Designer Gown is a tall bearded iris introduced by Joseph Ghio in 1985. This elegant variety reaches 34" (86 cm) and blooms early to midseason. Its standards display a refined pink orchid hue, while the falls are a delicate light pink, deepening at the hafts, and accented by a vivid tangerine beard. Designer Gown is recognized for its sophisticated color blend and impressive garden presence, earning both the Honorable Mention in 1987 and the Award of Merit in 1989.
