Delirium

Delirium (Marky Smith, 2001) is an Intermediate Bearded iris reaching 27" (69 cm) and blooming in the early midseason. This award-winning variety features standards in a unique smoked gold, complemented by cream style arms with gold crests. The falls display a greyed gold rim and veins overlaid with dark red violet, accented by gold to smoked salmon hafts around the beard. The beards themselves are greyed orange at the end with a vibrant vermilion throat. Delirium is notable for its ruffled, crinkled edges and pronounced sweet fragrance. With a distinguished parentage (Flights Of Fancy X Brash), it has received multiple honors, including the Sass Medal and Walther Cup. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
