Decoupage Artistry

Decoupage Artistry (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2022) is a gallery-worthy SDB iris that brings a painterly flair to the spring garden. Compact at 10" (25 cm), this early to midseason standout dazzles with crisp white standards, dramatically veined in deep violet and accented by luminous chinese green at the ends and center. The style arms echo this artistry, edged in chinese green with pristine white centers. Falls are a spectacle of design: a bold deep violet spot at the center, a sharp white spear point, and a broad, clean white border, all underscored by dark olive-green veining at the hafts. Burnt orange-tipped beards add a final touch of vibrancy. With its pedigree from ‘Raspberry Ruckus’ x ‘Color Blind’, Decoupage Artistry is a collector-grade, conversation-starting iris—perfect for those seeking a dynamic, color-forward presence in their landscape.
