Decadence

Decadence (Barry Blyth, 2001) is an award-winning tall bearded iris reaching 38" (96 cm) and blooming in midseason. This elegant variety features creamy apricot standards with a subtle rose midrib flush and matching style arms. The falls are a light plum burgundy, beautifully edged with a 1/4" creamy apricot border, and accented by vivid tangerine beards. Heavily ruffled and laced petals add to its refined appearance. Decadence is the result of a cross between Temple Of Time and Louisas Song, introduced by Keppel through Tempo Two in 2004/05. Recognized for its exceptional garden performance, it has received multiple honors, including the Honorable Mention and Walther Cup in 2006, the Award of Merit in 2008, and the prestigious Wister Medal in 2010.
