Debonair Bear

‘Debonair Bear’ (Paul Black, 2020) is a sophisticated SDB iris reaching 15.5" (39 cm), blooming midseason to late. Its standards are a refined light straw, subtly flushed with violet at the base and inside lower center, complemented by light to mid-straw style arms. The falls display a delicate wash of light lilac-rose over a buff ground, highlighted by a dramatic dark ruby red blended spot in the central third. The beard features light lavender-based hairs tipped in greyed tangerine. Bred from Seedling V316F, a sibling to ‘Circus Act’, crossed with ‘Don’t Fix It’.
