Dawn's Silence

Dawn's Silence (Robin Shadlow, 2017) is a tall bearded iris reaching 32" (81 cm) and blooming in the late midseason. This elegant variety features shell pink standards that blend to peach at the upper edges, accented by a magenta blush at the midrib base. The style arms are shell pink, while the falls display a rose-lilac hue, lightening at the center below the beards. The beards themselves are tangerine in the throat, transitioning to shell pink in the middle and ending rose-lilac. Bred from Resonance X Keppel seedling 04-77B (Decadence x Florentine Silk), Dawn's Silence offers a refined color palette and sophisticated form. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
