Dark Passion

Dark Passion (Schreiner, 1998) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), blooming in midseason. This variety features a rich, ebony black self (RHS 202A to 103A) with matching black beards, and lightly ruffled petals that add texture and depth. Notable for its pronounced sweet fragrance, Dark Passion brings both dramatic color and delightful scent to the garden. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2001.
