Crystal Carpet

Crystal Carpet (Chapman, 2004) is a remarkable SDB iris that commands attention with its luminous light blue blooms, each accented by a dramatic dark blue-violet crescent spot and a bold black base beneath vibrant yellow and orange beards. Standing at 12" (30 cm), this early midseason variety is celebrated for its pronounced sweet, spicy fragrance and painterly color contrast. With its garden-showpiece presence and memorable pedigree ('Butterscotch Carpet' x unknown), Crystal Carpet is a collector-grade addition that brings both visual impact and aromatic delight to any landscape.
