Cruise Director

Cruise Director (Tom Burseen, 2021) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that brings a dynamic, sculptural flair to the garden. Reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming midseason to late, this cultivar features rich carrot red standards and style arms (RHS 29C) that rise above luminous white falls, each subtly washed with light brick red (RHS 35C) at the hafts and edged in a delicate peach (RHS 29D) glow. The beards are plush, vivid vermillion (RHS 41A) with bold white flounces, amplifying its exhibition-grade appeal. With its extraordinary ruffles and color-forward design, Cruise Director is a pedigree-worthy centerpiece—perfect for collectors and those seeking a memorable, statement-making addition to their landscape. Hybridized by Tom Burseen and introduced in 2021. Attributes: Edge Trim, Novelty, Ruffled, Space Age
