Crow's Feet

Crow's Feet (Paul Black, 2006) is a medal-winning, gallery-worthy tall bearded iris that commands attention with its graphic, high-contrast patterning and refined ruffled form. Reaching 27" (69 cm) and blooming in the early midseason, this cultivar features luminous white standards and style arms, with style crests delicately edged in peach. The falls are a crisp white, dramatically lined with closely spaced purple veins extending from the beard to the edge, while the outer quarters are sanded in rich purple between the veins. A narrow white rim traces two-thirds of the upper falls, and the outer haft is veined in a sophisticated medium peach-plum. The beards are white, tipped in vibrant orange, adding a pop of color to the bloom’s sculptural presence. Slightly musky fragrance enhances its appeal.
