Crooked Little Smile

Crooked Little Smile (Robert Van Liere, 2008) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, color-forward presence. Reaching 32" (81 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features luminous standards and style arms in bright golden-yellow, slightly cocked for added sculptural appeal. The falls are a painterly yellow overlaid with denim blue, finished with a narrow yellow edge, while the beards are denim tipped in golden yellow—creating a vivid, high-contrast effect. With its pedigree from ‘Stairway To Heaven’ x ‘Satan’s Mistress’ crossed with ‘Hi Calypso’, Crooked Little Smile is a standout, garden-showpiece iris that brings a dynamic, gallery-worthy flair to any landscape. Introduced by Iris 4 U in 2008. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fertile
